A visit from Aunt Mel

Breanna & Rylie! The girls had a good time playing. Breanna held my hand & Haleigh sang "Onka-nosha" to me while Melinda & Stewart preformed surgery on my toe!

Haleigh cheesing for the camera....she was giving us a fashion show in her new outfits! She helped me puree the peaches for the ice cream, but unfortunately I didn't read the instructions to my kitchenaid ice-cream attachment & most of the ice cream ended up on the kitchen wall & on Stewart!

Rylie & Aunt Melinda! We had a good time at the pool, then did a little shopping & came back home for some dinner!

Here Keenon stands back as Stewart attempts to crank his "mistress" the jeep.....He has had it since he was 16 & refuses to part with it. I say we have to keep it, or we wouldn't be able to get into the attic! Ha!

Mamie & Pawpaw

One Sunday afternoon, Mamie & Pawpaw came by after church to visit & brought Evie & Cassidy. Here they are posing for a pic!

They had so much fun, Rylie was worn out & she fell asleep in Mamie's lap!

Pimp my Wagon!!!!

Here it is.......Rylie's first set of wheels. I thought it only fitting to write this blog in pink. Stewart decided Rylie had to have a wagon to travel to concert in the park, so he set out with a vengeance to find one. For the next three days, he worked dilligently, custom painting the wagon pink, of course. He took care not to overlook any detail, as you can see here.

A "fox" sticker & flames completed the custom look.....

Rylie loves her wagon! If you look really close you can see the dice on the air valves on the tires...also a custom touch by her daddy!

Fourth of July & other adventures aboard the Funship!

The babies were so cute!!! We stayed out on the water for the fireworks & they didn't get scared! We were so proud of them!

Rylie's new tricks!!!!

Here is what Rylie has been up to lately......in this pic she is learning to crawl. I think this is the first time she really did it, but she has been perfecting her moves the last couple of days. Her daddy & I are quickly learning about the importance of baby proofing!

This is a funny one that was actually taken on Aunt Melinda's birthday! She was licking the side of the pack n' play! Hilarious! She is getting funnier everyday. She will be 8 months old tomorrow...I can't believe it!

This is the pre-crawling stage. I think it is funny because it looks like she is doing pilates or something! Maybe she was paying attention to my workout videos!

She loves music & anything that resembles an instrument! Here she is with her "drums"! She is singing , too! Let's hope she doesn't take after me in the singing department!

Concert in the Park

This was a few weeks ago at our house.....the kiddos were having so much fun in the baby pool! Andrew is 9 days younger than Rylie, and they had fun playing together. Rylie was talking his ear off, and just like a man he is pretending to listen!

They are both deeply concentrating on which toy they are going to chew next! They kept stealing each other's toys! Here Rylie is 2 fisting it!

I guess Rylie decided that Andrew's arm would be fun to chew on. Thank goodness she doesn't have teeth yet!
