Growing up so fast!!

My babies are growing so fast....Rylie started her second year of preschool. She is now going three days a week and I miss her terribly on the days she is in school. She loves it, though, and her teachers are really sweet ladies. Rylie is such a funny girl! She is always cracking us up with the things she says. She loves anything purple and anything with kittens on it. Oh, and glitter. She is a girly girl. She is playing soccer this year for the first time and has done pretty well at practice. Everyone else on her team has played previously and she is one of two girls on the team. (The other is her best friend Kaylen!) Sometimes they get distracted and wander off pretending they are princesses or something! Typical little girls! Cohen is 15 months old now and is such a charmer. If we are out to eat, he will get down and walk by tables and smile and say "hi". He can say "hello", "bye-bye", "da-da", "ma-ma", "here ya go" and "baby". He loves bath time and if you ask if he wants to get out he shakes his head back and forth adamantly and says "un-uh!". He loves cars, trucks and trains and anything he can tinker with. (Like his daddy:) He LOVES music and will dance and nod his head anytime he hears a beat. He has 7 teeth and one more pushing through. I am so thankful for my children...they truly are a blessing from the Lord!

Rylie-isms

So here are some of the latest:

I was cleaning the stainless steel fridge....
Rylie:"Mom, is the paint you are spraying on there?"
Me: "No. It is stainless steel cleaner."
Rylie: "Oh, I get it. It steals the stains!"

On her nose that had been peeling from sunburn....
Rylie: "Mom, I need some more lotion for my nose."
Me: "Rylie, that was last week. It is all better now."
Rylie: "No, Mom. It still feels rusty."

In the kitchen...
Rylie: "What does that sign say, Mommy?"
Me: "Good Moms have dirty ovens, sticky floors and happy kids." (Pause) "Do you think I am a good Mom?"
Rylie: (mulls it over for a second) "OH YES! You are the best!!"

While Grandmom was giving her a bath...
Rylie: "Oh, no. There is a razor. I don't want it to 'raze' my hair." (Then the razor fell into the tub) "OH NO! IT'S GONNA RAZE MY BUTT!"

I love that silly girl! Thank you, God for my 2 sweet babies:)
